I was finally able to make a return visit to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park yesterday, and I was able to pick up a very elusive marsupial and see one of the Park's newest arrivals!

San Diego Zoo Safari Park (Escondido, CA) - 29 April 2024:
    Macropodidae:
    179. Matschie’s tree kangaroo (Dendrolagus matschiei)

    Cervidae:
    180. Pere David’s deer (Elaphurus davidianus)

(@Prochilodus246 - Just so you know, neither the lowland nyala nor the black wildebeest are a part of the Antilopinae subfamily, so neither would count for this challenge.)

Now that I know that I can share this (it does not appear the Park intends to officially announce them)... There was another even more exciting recent addition on display during my most recent visit to the Safari Park!

San Diego Zoo Safari Park (Escondido, CA) - 29 April 2024:
    Caprinae:
    181. Nilgiri tahr (Nilgiritragus hylocrius)

They are in the Asian Plains field exhibit, so they be seen from the overlooks on the pathways between Condor Ridge and Tiger Trail and between Tiger Trail and the Elephant Valley development or on a cart or caravan tour. They’re pretty easy to pick out because they look so different from anything else out there. In the morning, I saw them from the pathway while they were on the grassy hillside closest to the overlooks, and in afternoon I saw them from the cart while they were were in the rocks under the big ficus trees close to the boma.
